The creation of community that draws on the wisdom of the older generation and connects them with young professionals has been a delight for young and old. With minimal resources and much sweat, old farmhouses have been restored to offer communal spaces and bases in which traditional songs and dances are practiced together, skills in farming, knitting, crafts centuries old, cooking ancient recipes are shared, all is wreathed in laughter and delight. That is the undergirding to be able to face the stresses of today.
PaxWorks sees a rich, intimate, creative wide-ranging series of collaborations that will bear fruit for many years to come!
